Bank Close House is a beautiful Georgian listed building, set in 4 acres of private grounds. Bank Close House provides quality care for 27 residents in one of the premier care homes in Chesterfield.

Bank Close House has been extended to provide accommodation for 27 residents. At the rear of the property the previous stable block now caters 12 purpose build bedrooms. Companion rooms are available, along with adjoining rooms that are ideal for couples. We believe these are unique features within residential care homes in Chesterfield.
All rooms are furnished to an excellent standard with high quality decor and bedroom furniture, including lockable storage facilities. We always want our residents to feel at home during their stay and encourage them to bring small personal items of furniture for their rooms.
All our residents have a choice of lounges and seating areas which feature comfortable and specially designed furnishings.
Great care has been taken throughout the home to ensure that the 'old' and 'new' blend together harmoniously, retaining as many of the original features although the house has been modernised it still retains the atmosphere of a grand family home.
We offer a new Coffee Shop within the home and Bank Close House has a fully enclosed original Walled Garden to the rear.
We have an experienced team of cooks who create delicious and nutritious home-cooked food, which also covers special dietary requirements. Residents have a choice of eating in the dining room or in their own room if they prefer.
Refreshments are available 24 hrs a day.

Our team are passionate about respecting individuals rights, privacy and dignity. The home Manager, Senior care assistants, together with a team of dedicated carers, cooks, domestics, maintenance operative and dedicated activities co-coordinator provide 24 hour care. We strive to be one of the best residential care homes in Chesterfield area.
We operate a keyworker system within Bank Close house enabling residents and their families, together with our staff to put together a care package to ensure that the individual needs of our residents are met.
Residents can choose to be cared for by their own GP if they are within the catchment area. If not, assistance is provided to arrange an alternative practice for their medical care.
At Bank Close House we have our own activities co-ordinator who organises a varied social calendar. This includes:
