Well, it’s been a strange few weeks, but everyone here at Bank Close House has kept their chin up and soldiered on.
We shut our doors to all non-essential visitors on 17th March, in order to keep our residents and staff safe. Despite the Coronavirus outbreak, all our ladies enjoyed Mothers Day. Lots of them received phone calls, which they were very pleased about.
Our residents have also been sending messages to their loved ones, which you can see below.
We have also recevied some letters from pupils at Holmegate Primary School in Clay Cross. The pupils have written to our residents several times and the teacher has provided them with our address so they can continue whilst at home. Here’s some of or residents reading the letters.
John received a phone call from Maureen this morning. Lydia has been enjoying a cigar in the garden and rings her family on her mobile phone. Dot keep in touch with her family via mobile too.
We’ve even had a couple of Robins visit us in the garden!
