There’s nothing like a good birthday celebration, and at Charnley House, we make sure each one is memorable. Recently, we had a series of birthday parties, complete with delicious cake and festive decorations. With the England match approaching, the excitement was palpable and our residents have been getting ready to cheer on their team for every single match. We’ve adorned our common areas with football-themed decorations and set up a viewing area where everyone can gather to watch the match together.

In the spirit of the upcoming Olympics, our residents have been channelling their inner artists with Olympic-themed colouring activities. It’s been wonderful to see their creativity come to life as they colour in pictures of the iconic Olympic symbols. Seniors Lunch at Oaklands Hall
A change of scenery and a delicious meal are always a welcome treat. Recently, our residents enjoyed a lovely seniors’ lunch at Oaklands Hall in Hyde. The outing was a great success, with everyone savouring the delightful dishes and enjoying the charming ambiance of Oaklands Hall. It was a perfect opportunity for our residents to socialise and enjoy a pleasant afternoon together outside the usual surroundings of Charnley House.

What’s better than a fresh haircut to lift the spirits? Our residents were treated to a visit from a professional hairdresser, and the results were fabulous. There were smiles all around as our residents admired their new looks, and we captured some wonderful photos of them looking their best.
