The residents here at Charnley House residential care home in Hyde had a wonderful time over the Christmas holidays.

We had entertainment, games and crafts, including making Christmas cards and festive decorations, as well as birthday celebrations. We had carol singing and a Christmas party, where everyone was very jolly and we all wore our Christmas jumpers and hats.

Our local Morrisons have also, very kindly, donated some bulbs in pots, which our residents are nurturing so that hopefully we’ll have some beautiful spring flowers to bring some colour to the home.

Charnley House Care Home has been providing quality care for the elderly of Tameside, Stockport and Manchester since 1969 as a family run business. There is domestic staff on duty 7 days a week who make sure that the home is clean and comfortable and care staff are on hand 24 hours a day to help as much or as little as needed on a day to day basis.
